Frequently Asked Questions
How much does a notary cost in Indiana?
By Indiana law, a notary may charge up to $10 per notarial act (per signature). For mobile and remote service, a separate travel or convenience fee applies, which we quote up front. Remote online notarization is capped at $25 per act.
Do you come to me?
Yes. We are a fully mobile notary and travel to homes, offices, hospitals, nursing homes, and jails throughout Evansville and the surrounding counties.
Do you take after-hours requests?
Yes. After-hours and emergency appointments are available by request when scheduling allows. Calling or texting does not guarantee immediate availability.
What do I need to bring?
Your unsigned document and a valid government-issued photo ID for each signer. Don't sign until we meet, since most notarizations require signing in the notary's presence.
What areas do you serve?
Evansville and all of Vanderburgh County, plus Warrick, Gibson, and Posey counties. Eligible signers may use remote online notarization while the notary is physically in Indiana.
Can you notarize power of attorney documents?
Yes. We notarize power of attorney documents when the signer has valid ID, understands the document, and is signing willingly. We cannot draft documents or give legal advice.
Can you notarize for someone in jail?
Yes. Jail notarizations are available by appointment and depend on the facility's identification, visitation, and document rules.
